This year marks a very special moment for us — 14 years since our ceramic studio first opened its doors.

Fourteen years of clay-covered hands, slow processes, learning, experimenting, and creating pieces made with care and love. None of this would have been possible without you — our community, our supporters, our readers, and everyone who chose handmade over mass-produced.

We are deeply grateful for every message, every order, every visit, and every kind word over the years.

Your support has allowed us to continue doing what we love and growing in a way that feels true to us.

1. EA = Ema +Aris
2. The oldest item in the studio: Angels
3. We bough our first kiln one year after we opened the studio
4. Aris' favorite item to make: multi-part complicated sculptural vases
5. Our signatures design is double-wall Minoan-inspired ring-shape bottle 
6. Making small magnets takes more time than making classic colourful tiles
7. Before starting work with ceramics: Aris was a blacksmith - Ema tour guide
8. Ema is from Lithuania
9. In the first years, we worked only with transparent glazes as it was easier to work with
10. Our first custom tableware were made and sent to a hotel in St.Barts island, in the Caribbean
11. We get scared everytime we have a new ERASMUS student
12. One of the first workshops we held was for flight attendants, who worked for Beyonce 
13. Ema is a huge fan of jazz musician Avishai Cohen - he walked into the studio one day, but SHE WAS HAVING DAY OFF!!!!!
14. We are still searching for perfect blue glaze to work with
